Niklas Jihde
Niklas Jihde (born June 19, 1976, in Uppåkra, Sweden) is a Swedish former floorball player. Jihde has won the Floorball World Championship with Sweden five times, in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006. He scored 80 goals with the Swedish national floorball team. 2006 Men's World Floorball Championships
The 2006 Men's Floorball Championships were the sixth men's Floorball World Championships. It was held in May 2006 in Sweden, with the host country defeating Finland in sudden victory in the gold medal game. Sweden thus continued its tradition of winning these championships, but for the first time in their history the team failed to win all games. Switzerland became the first team to accomplish a draw versus Sweden in a world championship game, and later won the bronze medal. Mika Kohonen
Mika Kohonen (born May 10, 1977) is a Finnish floorball player. He currently plays for FC Helsingborg, a club in the Swedish Super League. He has also played for Balrog IK in SSL and Happee in Salibandyliiga. He has also been a part of Finland's national floorball team for many years. He had his own line of floorball sticks, called MK29, which were released by floorball company Karhu. In a poll conducted by the Swedish magazine Innebandymagazinet, reporters and national team coaches have voted Kohonen the world's best floorball player for five times; in 2005, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. His brother, Mikko Kohonen, is also a floorball player. Uppåkra
UppÃ¥kra is a village and parish in Staffanstorp Municipality, in Scania, southern Sweden, located five kilometres south of Lund. The village is known for its Iron Age archaeological site, which has been actively excavated since 1996. History UppÃ¥kra was situated on the ancient main road between Trelleborg and Helsingborg in what was to become the Danish kingdom. The original foundation of UppÃ¥kra is dated to the last century BC, although its importance appears to have increased in the fifth century. It seems likely that the rulers of UppÃ¥kra by then wielded influence over most or all of West Scania, i.e. the land along the Trelleborg–Helsingborg main road, known for extraordinarily fertile plains. UppÃ¥kra declined and was possibly in part relocated to Lund in the 990s. Knowledge about the decline of UppÃ¥kra and the relocation to Lund is still unsure.
