Nikkita Fountain
Nikkita Fountain (born 24 March 1984) is a Bahamian former professional tennis player. Born in Nassau, Fountain appeared in a national record 36 Fed Cup ties for the Bahamas, winning 10 singles and 12 doubles rubbers. Debuting in 1999, she didn't feature in the side while at college between 2004 and 2007, then returned to the side and played until 2014. She competed in college tennis for Southern Nazarene University and Florida International University. Fountain was a doubles gold medalist at the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, partnering Larika Russell. The final was decided by a third set match tie-break, which they mounted a comeback in to win 13–11 over their Dominican Republic opponents Daysi Espinal and Francesca Segarelli. Nikkita Holder (born May 7, 1987 in East York, Ontario) is a Canadian track and field athlete of Barbadian people, Barbadian descent who specialises in the 100 metres hurdles. Holder won the bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in her home country and city in Toronto. Career Holder competed at the 2015 Pan American Games. This event took place just one month after her father's death, in the finals she ran toward a bronze setting a season's best at 12.85. After the race she said "Since he’s passed, right before I race I kind of have this moment when I get teary-eyed. It kind of lets me know that he’s here. Faith Jefferies (born August 5, 1999) is an American professional wrestler, taekwondo practitioner, and musician. She is currently signed to WWE, where she performs on its NXT brand under the ring name Nikkita Lyons. Jefferies has also wrestled for Women of Wrestling (WOW) as Faith the Lioness. Early life Jefferies was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and raised in Hollywood, California. She began practicing Taekwondo at the age of four, earning a black belt by the age of 8. Nikkita R. Oliver is an American lawyer, non-profit administrator, educator, poet, and politician. They were a candidate for Mayor of Seattle in the 2017 mayoral election, but finished third in the primary with 17% of the vote. Oliver was defeated again in an at-large Seattle city council race in 2021. Oliver was a leader in the Black Lives Matter, civil rights, and criminal justice reform movements in Seattle, before relocating to Detroit in 2022. Early life and education Oliver was born in Indianapolis to a white mother and black father. Oliver attended Seattle Pacific University and earned a degree in sociology in 2008.
