Slobodan Nikić (Serbian Cyrillic: Слободан Никић; born 25 January 1983) is a Serbian professional water polo player. He is currently free agent and he is a long-standing member of the Serbia men's national water polo team. His most notable achievements with the national team are the gold medal from the Olympic Games in 2016, silver from the Olympic Games in 2004 and bronze from the Olympic Games 2012, three gold medals from the World Championships in 2005, 2009 and 2015, and five gold medals from the European Championships in 2003, 2006, 2012, 2014, and finally in 2016. He is one of the most decorated players in the history of water polo, and the only water polo player in the world to have won 3 FINA World Championship gold medals, an all-time record as of 2018. Goran Nikić ( sr-Cyrl, Горан Никић; born 1969) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. At international level, Nikić represented FR Yugoslavia U-21 in one U-21 Euro and was on the preliminary squad for the 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship winning team. Club career Born in Belgrade, Nikić made his senior debut with Red Star Belgrade. After suffering a hamstring injury, he left for various clubs before eventually retiring in 2000. International career Nikić represented Yugoslavia at the U-21 level in the 1986 European Championship. Nikola Nikić ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Никић, ; born 7 January 1956) is a Bosnian former footballer and current manager of NK Bratstvo Gračanica in the First League of FBiH. Playing career Nikić, born to father Ilija and mother Radojka (née Tadić), started his career in the lower leagues with FK Modriča and NK Zvijezda Gradačac before joining FK Željezničar Sarajevo. Chris Nikic (born 1999) is an American amateur triathlete. In 2020, at age 21, he became the first person with Down syndrome to finish an Ironman triathlon. For this accomplishment, Nikic was awarded the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance as part of the 2021 ESPY Awards. Additionally, he won the ESPY for Best Athlete with a Disability in Men's Sports.
