Niigata Albirex BB, formally Niigata Albirex Basketball, is a Japanese basketball club. It is based in Nagaoka, Niigata. Outline The club was founded in 1954 as the company team of Daiwa Securities, a Tokyo-based securities brokerage. In 1991, it joined the Japan Basketball League. In 2000, the company club was dissolved after NSG purchased it, and the club was moved before the 2000–2001 season to Niigata and renamed Albirex. In 2004, it joined the bj league along with five other clubs. Charles Phillip Hinkle (born March 11, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Nacional of the Liga Uruguaya de Básquetbol. Born in the Los Angeles area, he played high school basketball at Los Alamitos High School before moving to Hebron Academy. He then joined Vanderbilt University to play for the Commodores and redshirted his freshman season. After receiving limited playing time, he transferred to the American Eagles for his final two years and was one of the top NCAA Division I scorers as a senior. Immediately following his college career, Hinkle played for İstanbulspor in Turkey and Soproni KC in Hungary. Benjamin Louis Handlogten (born November 16, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and other leagues. Early life and education Handlogten, who was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan graduated from South Christian High School of Grand Rapids and attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Reginald Lamont Hamilton, Jr. (born May 23, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. In 2011–12, his senior year at Oakland University, Hamilton averaged 26.2 points per game to lead all of NCAA Division I in scoring. He scored 2,188 points between his time spent at UMKC and Oakland. Nicholas Adam DeWitz (born September 16, 1982, Mesa, Arizona) is an American former professional basketball player. High school In high school, DeWitz attended Dobson High School in Mesa, Arizona.
