''Nightmare on Providence Street'' is the second and last studio album of the Canadian deathcore band Blind Witness. It was produced by Michael Rashmawi and released on through Mediaskare Records. A music video was made for "Baby One More Notch". The last song, "The New Year", is used by the NHL's Buffalo Sabres as their theme song. Blind Witness
Blind Witness is a Canadian deathcore band from Granby, Quebec. Formed in 2005, the group was signed to Mediaskare Records and released two full-length studio albums. The band broke up in 2012, but reformed in 2014. History Blind Witness was founded in 2005, by vocalist Jonathan Cabana in Granby, Quebec along with friends guitarist Pier-Luc Desroches and drummer Kevin Desroches. They later added guitarist/vocalist Maxime Lacroix and bassist Miguel Lepage to the roster. In 2005, the band began performing in Montreal. In 2007, the band was signed by Victory/Torque Records. Then in 2008, the band released their first full-length album: ''Silences Are Words''. While writing their follow up album, the group signed to Mediaskare Records and entered the studio to record ''Nightmare on Providence Street''. Spineshank
Spineshank was an American metal band from Los Angeles. The band has released four studio albums: '' Strictly Diesel'' (1998), ''The Height of Callousness'' (2000), ''Self-Destructive Pattern'' (2003), and ''Anger Denial Acceptance'' (2012). History Formation, Roadrunner Records years (1996–2003) Formed in February 1996, Spineshank was assembled from the remains of a previous musical endeavor called "Basic Enigma". That band included future Spineshank members in vocalist Jonny Santos, guitarist Mike Sarkisyan and drummer Tom Decker. Silent Civilian
Silent Civilian is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band originating from Los Angeles, California. Following his departure from nu metal band Spineshank in 2004, frontman Jonny Santos felt he wanted to move in a different direction musically and start from scratch. Silent Civilian was thus formed and the band faced trouble from the start after experiencing several line-up changes and departing from their original record label Corporate Punishment Records. The Ghost Inside, formerly known as A Dying Dream, is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 2004. Deathcore
Deathcore is an extreme metal subgenre that combines death metal with metalcore. The genre consists of death metal guitar riffs, blast beats, and metalcore breakdowns. Buffalo Sabres
The Buffalo Sabres are a professional ice hockey team based in Buffalo, New York. The Sabres compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference.
