Nightingale (film)
''Nightingale'' is a 2014 American drama film directed by Elliott Lester and written by Frederick Mensch. The film stars David Oyelowo. The film premiered on HBO on May 29, 2015. Plot The movie begins with Peter Snowden, a man in his late 30s, recording a video of his confession to murdering his mother. He explains that she was unwilling to allow him, an equal contributor to their household expenses, to have the house to himself for the purpose of entertaining an old military buddy. He goes on to explain that he feels no guilt for the crime but does regret the amount of blood. Peter appears to be a type of vlogger, as he admonishes himself that he can not upload this video and shuts the camera off. The next day, Peter sits at the kitchen table singing happily and enjoying a bowl of what appears to be Froot Loops. And as he heads off to work, he seems to forget for a moment that the previous night he murdered his mother, because he calls to her closed bedroom door to let her know ...

Elliott Lester
Elliott Lester is a British film and television director best known for directing the film ''Blitz''. He began his career directing music videos, before making his film debut in 2006 with ''Love Is the Drug.'' Career Lester made his feature film directing in 2006 with a drama film ''Love Is the Drug''. In 2011, he directed the crime thriller ''Blitz'' from a script by Nathan Parker, starring Jason Statham and Paddy Considine. In 2014, Lester directed the HBO's drama film ''Nightingale'', starring David Oyelowo. Lester has also directed a drama thriller film, titled ''478'' from a script by Javier Gullón, which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film was released in 2017 retitled ''Aftermath''. The Black Reel Awards, or BRAs, is an annual American awards ceremony hosted by the Foundation for the Augmentation of African-Americans in Film (FAAAF) to recognize excellence of African Americans, as well as the cinematic achievements of the African diaspora, in the global film industry, as assessed by the foundation’s voting membership. This is a list of the winners of the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for Television Movie, which is awarded since 1992. The category was originally called Outstanding Drama or Comedy Special. In 1991, Outstanding Drama or Comedy Special category was merged with Outstanding Miniseries category to form Outstanding Drama or Comedy Special and Miniseries and the number of nominations increased from five to six. For this year, two miniseries had competed with four "made for television movies". The following year, 1992, the new category was split to re-form the Outstanding Miniseries and Outstanding Made for Television Movie categories.
