Night Terrors (Doctor Who)
"Night Terrors" is the ninth episode of the Doctor Who (series 6), sixth series of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who'', and was first broadcast on BBC One and BBC America on 3 September 2011. It was written by Mark Gatiss and directed by Richard Clark (director), Richard Clark. In the episode, alien time traveller Eleventh Doctor, the Doctor (Matt Smith) and his Companion (Doctor Who), companions Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams, Rory (Arthur Darvill) decide to make a "house call" to Croydon, to an eight-year-old boy named George (Jamie Oram) who is terrified of almost everything, and especially dreads the cupboard in his bedroom. While the Doctor discusses this with George's father Alex (Daniel Mays), Amy and Rory become trapped in a doll house with terrifying life-size peg dolls. Matt Smith
Matthew Robert Smith (born 28 October 1982) is an English actor. The sixth series of British science fiction television programme ''Doctor Who'' was shown in two parts. The first seven episodes were broadcast from April to June 2011, beginning with "The Impossible Astronaut" and ending with mid-series finale "A Good Man Goes to War". Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child's body matures into an adult body capable of sexual reproduction. Peg Wooden Doll
Peg wooden dolls, also known as Dutch dolls (), are a type of wooden doll from Germany. They originated as simple lathe-turned dolls from the Val Gardena in the Alps. The name Pennywoods is also used for dolls of this type, in particular those made in the United States. These dolls were sold undressed. Children would then make their clothing from scraps of fabric. Other similarly-constructed wooden dolls, using a jointing technique where the arms and/or legs are attached to the body with pegs, are some of the oldest surviving dolls, and were made worldwide. Sometimes a peg wooden doll's arms or legs are locked together by the jointing system, so if one arm is moved the other will move. Dyrham Park () is a baroque English country house in an ancient deer park near the village of Dyrham in South Gloucestershire, England. The house, attached orangery, stable block, and accompanying parish church are Grade I listed buildings, while the park is Grade II* listed on the National Register of Historic Parks and Gardens. The current house was built for William Blathwayt in stages during the 17th and early 18th centuries on the site of a previous manor house, with the final facade being designed by William Talman.
