A night owl, evening person or simply owl, is a person who tends to stay up until late at night, or to the very early hours of the morning. Night owls who are involuntarily unable to fall asleep for several hours after a normal time may have delayed sleep phase disorder. The opposite of a night owl is an early bird – a lark as opposed to an owl – which is someone who tends to begin sleeping at a time that is considered early and also wakes early. Researchers traditionally use the terms ''morningness'' and eveningness for the two chronotypes or diurnality and nocturnality in animal behavior. We Stood Like Kings
We Stood Like Kings are an instrumental rock band formed in 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. They have released five full-length albums through the German label Kapitän Platte. Their purely instrumental music combines elements of post-rock, neoclassical rock, progressive rock with a prominent use of the piano. Their approach consists of mixing their own music with other art forms: silent cinema and classical music. Plot Police officer Edgar Kennedy is warned by his police chief to make arrests to stop a burglary epidemic on his patch or face the sack. Kennedy comes across vagrants Laurel and Hardy that night and persuades them to rob the chief's house to get in his boss's good books. The boys, believing it to be too dangerous, at first refuse. The Night Owls (also known as the "Owls") is the oldest continuous women's and genderqueer a cappella group in the United States. Formed in 1942, they are Vassar College's oldest a cappella group. The Night Owls are a soprano/alto jazz ensemble that performs a range of music from jazz standards to current pop hits to indie-folk music. History The Night Owls perform in all-black to honor the tradition of the group's founding. In the midst of a polio outbreak in 1942, sixteen students left their quarantined dormitories, dressed in black, and sneaked into the library basement at night to perform for their classmates.
