Night Caller From Outer Space
''Night Caller from Outer Space'', also known as simply ''The Night Caller'' or ''Blood Beast from Outer Space'', is a British 1965 science fiction film directed by John Gilling. It is based on Frank Crisp's novel ''The Night Callers''. A colourised version of the film was released in 2011. Plot Scientist Dr Morley and his American associate Jack Costain (John Saxon) detect a meteorite heading to Earth. After determining where the meteorite has crashed, they and their aides investigate a meteorite in the British countryside, discovering that it is an alien device from Ganymede, a moon of Jupiter. The device is in the shape of a small sphere. While working nights at the lab, secretary Ann Barlow (Patricia Haines) sees something moving in the lab. Dr Morley attempts to communicate with the creature, but he is killed. The creature escapes the lab. Costain begins to track the creature. ''The Night Caller'' is a 1998 American thriller film starring Shanna Reed and Tracy Nelson about a crazed woman who becomes obsessed with a radio talk-show personality. Plot Beth Needham (Tracy Nelson) works the graveyard shift at a convenience store, and is becoming increasingly fed up with her job. To pass the time, she listens to a late-night San Diego radio show hosted by Dr. Lindsey Roland (Shanna Reed). One night, she musters up the courage to call into the show and she is encouraged to make some changes in her life and to call back in a few weeks to update the show's listeners on her progress. It doesn't take long for Beth to quit her job, threatening her nasty boss with a knife while she's doing so. It was released in the United States and the United Kingdom as ''The Night Caller''. Plot Policeman Jean Letellier is under pressure, because the infamous gangster Marcucci escaped from him publicly.
