Nigeria National Under-20 Football Team
The Nigerian men's national under-20 football team represents Nigeria in men's international football also known as the Nigeria Under-20s or nicknamed the ''Flying Eagles.'' The Flying Eagles is the youth team for the national soccer in Nigeria. It plays a large role in the development of Nigerian football, and it’s considered to be the feeder team for the senior team. It is controlled by the Nigerian Football Federation. The team has won a record of seven African U-20 Cup of Nations titles and are also two-times runners-up of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. 2005 African Youth Championship
The 2005 African Youth Championship was an international football competition that took place between 15 and 29 January 2005. The tournament was hosted by Benin and also served as qualification for the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship. Qualification Preliminary round Burundi and Mauritius withdrew. As a result, the Republic of Congo and Lesotho advanced to the next round. First round Republic of Congo, Congo Kinshasa, Ethiopia, Gabon and Tanzania withdrew. The 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship took place in Chile from 10 to 25 October 1987. The 1987 championship was the 6th contested and won for the first time by Yugoslavia. 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament
The 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament is the first edition of the international Zone B U-20 men's football event for teams under the West African Football Union. The competition was hosted by Togo in December 2018 in One match venues. The organizers of the tournament, said it will run from 6-16 December 2018 which will feature eight teams were drawn in two groups of four.
