Nigeria National Under-20 Football Team
The Nigerian men's national under-20 football team represents Nigeria in men's international football also known as the Nigeria Under-20s or nicknamed the ''Flying Eagles.'' The Flying Eagles is the youth team for the national soccer in Nigeria. It plays a large role in the development of Nigerian football, and it’s considered to be the feeder team for the senior team. It is controlled by the Nigerian Football Federation. The team has won a record of seven African U-20 Cup of Nations titles and are also two-times runners-up of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The 1987 FIFA World Youth Championship took place in Chile from 10 to 25 October 1987. The 1987 championship was the 6th contested and won for the first time by Yugoslavia. 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship
The 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship was the fourth edition FIFA World Youth Championship tournament, hosted from 2 June to 19 June 1983 in seven venues in Mexico — Guadalajara, Irapuato, León, Mexico City, Monterrey, Puebla and Toluca — where a total of 32 matches were played. Brazil U20 defeated Argentina, 1–0, at Mexico City's Azteca Stadium to claim its inaugural tournament title of five. The 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations qualification was a men's under-20 football competition which decided the participating teams of the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations. 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament
The 2018 WAFU Zone B U-20 Tournament is the first edition of the international Zone B U-20 men's football event for teams under the West African Football Union. The competition was hosted by Togo in December 2018 in One match venues. The organizers of the tournament, said it will run from 6-16 December 2018 which will feature eight teams were drawn in two groups of four. WAFU Zone B member teams were Ivory Coast, Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Nigeria and Benin. Mali (from Zone A) replaced Côte d'Ivoire, who had withdrawn before the tournament.
