Nigeria FA Cup
The AITEO Cup (a.k.a. Challenge Cup, sometimes shortened to Fed Cup), is the main football single-elimination tournament in Nigeria contested by 74 teams, representing the 36 states + 1 FCT of Nigeria. It is the Nigerian domestic cup and the Nigerian equivalent of the FA Cup, Emperor's Cup, Copa do Brasil, Coupe de France, among others. It was created in 1945 as the "Governor's Cup", succeeding the War Memorial Challenge Cup that had been limited to teams from Lagos. The tournament was created in 1945 as the Governor's Cup and was initially dominated by Lagosian teams, later it was known as the Nigeria FA Cup from (1954–1959), Nigeria Challenge Cup (1960–1998), Coca-Cola FA Cup (1999–2008) and Nigeria Federation Cup (2009–2016). Bayelsa United
Bayelsa United FC is a football club based in Yenagoa, Bayelsa, Nigeria. They play in the second division of Nigerian football, the Nigeria National League. Their home games are played at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Ovom, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. 2008/09 season Due to torrential rains making the pitch unplayable, they played the 2007–2008 season in the Delta State town of Oghara. Aiteo Cup (women)
The AITEO Cup (formerly Women Challenge Cup and Federations Cup) is a cup competition in Nigeria. Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt have won the most titles. The tournament along with Nigeria Women Premier League are the two recognized competition for women football organized by the Nigeria Football Federation. The finals are usually played at Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos State. In June 2017, the Nigeria Football Federation finalized a five-year deal with AITEO Group for the naming rights of the competition. The deal will have the winners and runnerup get ₦10,000,000 and ₦5,000,000 respectively annually. Mighty Jets International FC is a Nigerian football club from Jos, playing in the Nigeria National League. They play at the Jos International Stadium, which has a capacity of 45,000.
