Niek Van Dijk
Cornelis Nicolaas "Niek" van Dijk is an orthopaedic surgeon, a specialist in sports traumatology and arthroscopic surgery of the ankle and knee. Until 2016 Van Dijk was Full Professor in Orthopaedics and head of the Orthopaedic Department at the AMC-hospital in Amsterdam (Academic Medical Centre, University of Amsterdam). He continues his career in the FIFA Medical Centres of excellence in Madrid and Porto. He is the founder of a characteristic approach, which has come to be known as the Amsterdam Foot & Ankle School (aka The Amsterdam Approach): Niek van Dijk has won renown as a leading authority for arthroscopic surgery of the ankle and the knee. Niek Loohuis
Niek Loohuis (, born 25 April 1986 in Losser) is a former Dutch footballer who currently plays for Quick '20. He formerly played for SC Veendam and SC Heerenveen. Career Loohuis used to be a part of FC Twente's youth academy. The talent was declared unfit, for he did not meet the physical demands. Loohuis experienced growth problems and Twente had no other choice but to let him go. He went to amateur club Quick '20 in Oldenzaal where he played until the age of 18. In Oldenzaal the youngster could play freely. Quick'20 played at the highest level of amateur football in the Netherlands at the time. Loohuis reckoned it was a good step in pursuing his dream of becoming a professional footballer. He got what he wanted. In 2005 two first division clubs showed interest: FC Emmen and BV Veendam. Niek Kimmann (born 20 May 1996 in Lutten) is a Dutch BMX racing cyclist. Kimmann is the reigning Olympic Champion BMX Racing, a three-time World Champion, one-time European Champion, three-time Dutch Champion, and two-time World Cup Supercross winner. Servaas Nicolaas "Niek" du Toit is a former South African arms dealer, former mercenary and former colonel of 32 Battalion and the 5th Reconnaissance Commando. He was implicated in the plot to overthrow Teodoro Obiang of Equatorial Guinea. Failed coup and aftermath He went on trial in Malabo along with 18 other men accused of being the advance party for 70 other mercenaries. All were found guilty and although the prosecution asked for the death penalty, du Toit received a 34 year sentence (to be served in Malabo's Black Beach prison).
