Nicos Tornaritis ( el, :el:%CE%9D%CE%AF%CE%BA%CE%BF%CF%82 %CE%A4%CE%BF%CF%81%CE%BD%CE%B1%CF%81%CE%AF%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%82, Νίκος Τορναρίτης) (born December 6, 1964) is a Cyprus, Cypriot politician and jurist. He is currently the Parliamentary Leader of the ruling party, the Democratic Rally. He is a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Cyprus (House of Representatives of Cyprus) since 2001. Education He has studied Law and Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens where he has graduated in 1988, and he has attend the programme “Senior Managers in Government” in John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in 2010. Career He is the Honorary Consul of Kenya in Cyprus since 1998. As Honorary Consul he contributed to the establishment of hospitals and schools in the African country.
