Nicolás "Nico" Terol Peidro (born 27 September 1988) is a Spanish professional motorcycle road racer, winner of the 125cc World Championship in . He has previously competed in the Superbike World Championship and the Supersport World Championship. Career 125cc World Championship Born in Alcoy, Province of Alicante Valencia, Spain, Terol began his professional racing career in 2005. He took his first international victory in the rain-shortened 2008 Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix as he was leading the race at the time of the final completed lap. The Masaryk circuit ( cz, Masarykův okruh) or Masarykring, also referred to as the Brno Circuit, refers to two motorsport race tracks located in Brno, Czech Republic. The original street circuit was made up of public roads, and at its longest measured . In 1949, events such as the Czechoslovakian Grand Prix attracted top teams and drivers. Supersport World Championship
The Supersport World Championship, abbreviated to WorldSSP, is a motorcycle racing competition on hard-surfaced circuits, based on mid-sized sports motorcycles. Competition machines were originally based on production-based motorcycles with 600 cc to 750 cc engines, depending on the number of cylinders. After trials in UK national series British Supersport, from 2022 the regulations have changed to allow eligibility of larger-displacement engines, to reflect the engine sizes being produced and encourage different manufacturers. The championship runs as a support class to the Superbike World Championship, which is similarly based on large production-based sports motorcycles. The 2012 Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix was the eighteenth and final round of the 2012 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It took place on the weekend of 9–11 November 2012 at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo. The race was Casey Stoner's last before his retirement from the sport, and he finished it on the podium in third position.
