Nicolás Olmedo
Nicolás Andrés Olmedo (born 10 March 1983) is an Argentine football midfielder. Club career Godoy Cruz Olmedo started his career in 2002 with Godoy Cruz, while the team played in the Primer (regionalized fourth division) on its 2004–05 season. Upon his return to Godoy Cruz, he won with the team the 2005–06 season of the Primera B Nacional, securing promotion to the Argentine Primera. Olmedo saw little action during Godoy Cruz' subsequent season in the first division (the 2006–07), playing only 12 games and scoring 1 goal. Godoy Cruz was relegated by the end of the season, but the midfielder stayed with the team and helped them return to the first division after only one season. In his second period in the first division, Olmedo became an integral part of Godoy Cruz' first team. The 2009–10 Primera División season was the 119th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed in the season, which started on 21 August 2009 and ended on 23 May 2010. Changes from 2008–09 The major changes for this season apply to international qualification. Primera B Nacional
Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 37 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. In Argentine football, Nacional B is the second-highest league, and from it, the three best teams are automatically promoted to Primera División. Torneo Argentino B
Torneo Argentino B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Torneo Argentino B season would end with the top teams from each zone playing in cross-over playoffs, culminating with overall champions and a number of teams (varied by season) eligible for promotion to the following season's Torneo Argentino A competition.
