Nicole Gius (born 16 November 1980) is an Italian alpine skier. She was born in Schlanders, Italy. She competed at the 2002 Winter Olympics and the 2010 Winter Olympics. Schlanders (; it, Silandro ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in South Tyrol in northern Italy, located about west of the city of Bolzano. Slalom is an alpine skiing and alpine snowboarding discipline, involving skiing between poles or gates. The FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is the top international circuit of alpine skiing competitions, launched in 1966 by a group of ski racing friends and experts which included French journalist Serge Lang and the alpine ski team directors from France (Honore Bonnet) and the USA ( Bob Beattie).
