Nicolas Lopez (born 8 March 2003) is a Bahamian footballer. Early and personal life Lopez was born in Freeport, Bahamas. He moved to Nassau, Bahamas in 2015 where he attended Lyford Cay International School until 2021. Playing career Lopez's current club is the Northeastern Men's Club Soccer team. Freeport, Bahamas
Freeport is a city, district and free trade zone on the island of Grand Bahama of the northwest Bahamas. In 1955, Wallace Groves, a Virginian financier with lumber interests in Grand Bahama, was granted of pineyard with substantial areas of swamp and scrubland by the Bahamian government with a mandate to economically develop the area. Freeport has grown to become the second most populous city in the Bahamas. The main airport serving the city is the Grand Bahama International Airport, which receives domestic flights from various islands of the Bahamas as well as several international flights from the United States and Canada. Renegades FC
Renegades Football Club (formerly known as Lyford Cay Football Club) is a Bahamian football club based in Lyford Cay while playing its home game in the capital Nassau. The team plays in the BFA Senior League. The team is also known by its nickname of the Ospreys (the Dragons until 2015), to distinguish it from a second Lyford Cay FC that has simultaneously played in the BFA Senior League (as recently as 2013–14) nicknamed the "Warriors". The Warriors serve as the reserve team for the Ospreys. The Bahamas national football team is controlled by the Bahamas Football Association; it was founded in 1967 and joined FIFA in 1968. Bahamas has never qualified for the FIFA World Cup. They have been a part of CONCACAF since 1967.
