Nicolas Depoortère (born 13 January 2003) is a French professional rugby union player who plays as a centre for Top 14 club Bordeaux-Bègles and the France national team. He made his professional debut with Bordeaux-Bègles on 23 December 2022. International career Depoortère made his debut for France U20 on 24 June 2022 in the Six Nations U20 Summer Series match against Ireland. Next year, he was named in the France U20 squad for the Six Nations Under 20s Championship and the World Rugby U20 Championship. On 24 June, he scored a brace against Japan in France's opening match in the tournament. Union Bordeaux Bègles
Union Bordeaux Bègles (; oc, Union Bordèu Begla) is a French rugby union team playing in the Top 14, the first level of the country's professional league system. They earned their Top 14 place by winning the promotion playoffs that followed the 2010–11 season in the second-level Rugby Pro D2. Upon promotion to the Top 14 in 2011, they were assured a place in the European Challenge Cup. In 2015, they earned their European Champions Cup place, after winning the European playoffs against Gloucester Rugby in Worcester. They were founded in 2006 as a result of a merger between two Bordeaux clubs, Stade Bordelais and Club Athlétique Bordeaux-Bègles Gironde. They wear claret (in French: ''bordeaux'') and white. World Rugby Under 20 Championship
The World Rugby Under 20 Championship (known as the IRB Junior World Championship until 2014) is an international rugby union competition. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, World Rugby, and is contested by 12 men's junior national teams with an under-20 age requirement. This event replaced the IRB's former age-grade world championships, the Under 19 and Under 21 World Championships. The inaugural tournament was held in June 2008, hosted by Wales and with 16 teams participating. Wales was announced as host for the inaugural tournament in November 2007. The number of participating nations was reduced to 12 before the 2010 tournament due to financial reasons. Damian Penaud (born 25 September 1996) is a French professional rugby union player, who plays as a wing or a centre for Top 14 club Clermont and the France national team. He is the son of former French international, Alain Penaud.
