Nicolas Cloarec
Nicolas Cloarec (born 24 July 1977) is a French former professional footballer who played as a central midfielder. He was most recently the manager of Championnat National 2 side Vitré. Cloarec started his career at Caen but failed to make a senior appearance for the club. He joined Lorient in 1996 and went on to play more than 100 matches in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 during a six-year spell. In 2002, Cloarec signed for Clermont Foot, where he made 64 league appearances. He ended his career with a spell at Concarneau before his retirement in 2007. In July 2009, Cloarec was appointed as manager of his former club Concarneau. He managed the club for almost nine years, during which time he oversaw promotions from Championnat de France Amateur 2 in 2011 and Championnat de France Amateur in 2016. Concarneau
Concarneau (, meaning ''Bay of Cornouaille'') is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France. Concarneau is bordered to the west by the Baie de La Forêt. The town has two distinct areas: the modern town on the mainland and the medieval Ville Close, a walled town on a long island in the centre of the harbour. Historically, the old town was a centre of shipbuilding, and its ramparts date from the 14th century. The Ville Close is now devoted to tourism with many restaurants and shops aimed at tourists. However restraint has been shown in resisting the worst excesses of souvenir shops. Also in the Ville Close is the fishing museum. The Ville Close is connected to the town by a bridge and at the other end a ferry to the village of Lanriec on the other side of the harbour. The Championnat National 2, commonly known as National 2 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur (CFA), is a football league competition. The league serves as the fourth tier of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the Championnat National. Contested by 64 clubs, the Championnat National 2 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National and the Championnat National 3, the fifth division of French football. Seasons run from August to May, with teams in four groups playing 32 games each totalling 1280 games in the season.
