Nicolas Bonnet (born 11 February 1981) is a French politician of The Ecologists who was elected member of the National Assembly for Puy-de-Dôme's 3rd constituency in 2024. Puy-de-Dôme's 3rd Constituency
The 3rd constituency of the Puy-de-Dôme (French: ''Troisième circonscription du Puy-de-Dôme'') is a French legislative constituency in the Puy-de-Dôme '' département''. Like the other 576 French constituencies, it elects one MP using a two-round electoral system. Description The 3rd constituency of the Puy-de-Dôme lies in the south west of the department and includes the western and south western parts of Clermont-Ferrand. The constituency is most notable for the fact that it was the political base of former French President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Giscard d'Estaing was succeeded by his son Louis in 2002, however he was defeated by the Green candidate in 2012. Louis made an attempt to regain the seat at the 2017 elections however he could only manage second place. Laurence Vichnievsky (born 5 February 1955 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Hauts-de-Seine) is a French magistrate and politician who has been serving as a member of the French National Assembly since the 2017 elections. She is a member of the Democratic Movement (MoDem), after having previously been a member of Europe Écologie–The Greens. The title was selected to reflect its alignment with the ideas of the Montagnards of the French Revolution. The paper has been in circulation since 1919.
