Nicolae Negru (born 14 October 1948) is a writer and journalist from Moldova. He works for Jurnal TV, Vocea Basarabiei, and Jurnal de Chişinău. Biography Nicolae Negru was born on 14 October 1948, in Ciutulești, Florești District. He graduated from the Technical University of Moldova in Chişinău in 1970. Negru is a member of Moldovan Writers' Union, Romanian Writers' Union and Union of Journalists of Moldova. The Order of the Republic ( ro, Ordinul Republicii) is Moldova's highest order. It is awarded by the President of Moldova for exceptional merits in all fields which benefit Moldova and humanity as a whole. The order was established in July 1992 and its collar and badge are made from silver. A recipient cannot receive the award twice. The next (lower) award is the Order of Ștefan cel Mare. Petru Bogatu (12 July 1951 – 22 March 2020) was a journalist, essayist, political analyst and writer from the Republic of Moldova, unionist and pro-occidental orientation, editorialist at the ''National Newspaper'', professor at the State University of Moldova, Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences.
