Nico Echavarría
Nicolás Echavarría (born 4 August 1994) is a Colombian professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He claimed his first PGA Tour victory in his rookie season at the Puerto Rico Open. Amateur career Echavarría attended the University of Arkansas from 2013 to 2017. He also represented Colombia in the Eisenhower Trophy in 2016. Professional career Echavarría turned professional in 2017. He won twice during the 2018 PGA Tour Latinoamérica season, finishing second in the Order of Merit, gaining a card for the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour season. Echavarría gained a PGA Tour card for the 2022–23 season, via the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Finals. In March 2023, he won the Puerto Rico Open. Taylor Moore (born July 28, 1993) is an American professional golfer. After turning professional in 2016, he progressed through the PGA Tour's development tours, graduating to the top-level PGA Tour in 2021. He has one victory on the tour, the Valspar Championship in 2023. Amateur career In 2014, Moore won the Saguaro Amateur. He also tied as the leading medallist in the stroke play qualifying round of the U.S. Amateur. Professional career Moore turned professional in 2016. The top 25 players on the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour regular-season points list earned PGA Tour cards for 2022–23. 2016 Eisenhower Trophy
The 2016 Eisenhower Trophy took place 21–24 September at the Mayakoba El Camaleón Golf Club and the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club on the Riviera Maya, south of Cancun, Mexico. It was the 30th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy and the second to be held in Mexico. Format The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 72 three-man teams. The best two scores for each round counted towards the team total. Each team played two rounds on the two courses. The leading teams played at the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf Club on the third day and at the Mayakoba El Camaleón Golf Club on the final day. The Players Championship
The Players Championship (commonly known as simply The Players, stylized by the PGA Tour as The PLAYERS Championship) is an annual golf tournament on the PGA Tour. Originally known as the Tournament Players Championship, it began in 1974. The Players Championship at one point offered the highest purse of any tournament in golf ($20 million). The field usually includes the top 50 players in the world rankings, but unlike the major championships and World Golf Championships events, it is owned by the PGA Tour and not an official event on other tours. The Masters Tournament (usually referred to as simply The Masters, or the U.S. Masters outside North America) is one of the four major championships in professional golf.
