Raw Thrills, Inc. is an arcade game entertainment company based in Skokie, Illinois. It is best known for developing arcade games based on films. Nicktoons is a collective name used by Nickelodeon for their original animated series. All Nicktoons are produced partly at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and list Nickelodeon's parent company (Viacom, now known as Paramount Global) in their copyright bylines. Since 2001, there have been a series of video games and arcade games based on the Nickelodeon animated television series ''SpongeBob SquarePants''. The television series' massive rise in popularity during the 2000's led to a myriad of video games that span different genres.
