Nickolas Ashford
Ashford & Simpson were an American husband-and-wife songwriting-production team and recording duo of Nickolas Ashford (May 4, 1941 – August 22, 2011) and Valerie Simpson (born August 26, 1946). Ashford was born in Fairfield, South Carolina, and Simpson in the Bronx, New York City. Afterwards, his family relocated to Ypsilanti, Michigan, where he became a member of Christ Temple Baptist Church. While there, he sang with a group called the Hammond Singers (named after the founding minister, James Hammond). Later, Nickolas attended and graduated from Willow Run High School in Ypsilanti, Michigan, before pursuing his professional career, where he would ultimately meet his wife, Valerie. They met at Harlem's White Rock Baptist Church in 1964. Nickolas Butler is an American novelist and short story author. He is the author of four novels: ''Shotgun Lovesongs'' (2014), The Hearts of Men (2017), Little Faith (2019), and ''Godspeed'' (2021). He also authored the short story collection ''Beneath the Bonfire'' (2015). Biography Butler was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where he attended Memorial High School. He attended high school alongside Justin Vernon, frontman of indie folk band Bon Iver. Nickolas Davatzes (March 14, 1942 – August 21, 2021) was an American television executive who was CEO Emeritus of A&E Networks. He created and developed two cable television networks: A&E and The History Channel. A&E was formed in 1983 through the merger of ABC and Hearst's ARTS Network and NBC's Entertainment Channel, creating a partnership as unlikely as it has been successful. Nickolas Muray (born Miklós Mandl; 15 February 1892 – 2 November 1965) was a Hungarian-born American photographer and Olympic saber fencer. Early and personal life Muray was born in Szeged, Hungary, and was History of the Jews in Hungary, Jewish. His father Samu Mandl was a postal worker, and his mother Klara Lovit was a homemaker. In 1894 his family moved to Budapest. He attended a graphic arts school in Budapest, where he studied lithography, photoengraving, and photography.
