''Nickelodeon Splat!'' was a television block consisting of game show interstitials on Nickelodeon. It aired live from March 7, 2004 to August 17, 2004. A webpage created for the game allowed viewers to interact with the program while it was airing. It was the last show taped at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios Florida in Orlando, Florida alongside another Nickelodeon show, ''Gamefarm'', prior to its closure on April 30, 2005. Gameplay The game-based interstitials follow teams divided into three colors (green, yellow and red). The teams, composed of audience members and selected guests from the Universal Studios Florida theme park, must complete humorous tasks to earn prizes. Nickelodeon Studios was a production studio and theme park attraction run by the television network Nickelodeon at Universal Studios Florida. Opening on June 7, 1990, as ''The First World Headquarters for Kids'', the studio attracted young tourists as contestants and audience members for Nickelodeon's live-action programming. At its peak, the studio employed 400 people and was the largest production studio in Florida, bringing $110 million in business to the state by 1994. The studio closed permanently on April 30, 2005, after much of Nickelodeon's production had moved to Nickelodeon on Sunset. Rahman K. Johnson (born May 26, 1976, in Orange Park, Florida) is a local television & radio personality and former Group 5 At Large Representative for the Duval County Soil and Water Conservation District. Politics With his election to the Duval County Soil and Water Conservation District in 1999, Johnson became the youngest elected official in Florida at the time.
