Nick Wickham
Nick Wickham is a British film and television director specialising in live performance, beginning his career in music and fashion by shooting and directing shows and on air presentations at MTV Europe. In 1997 he moved on to establish boutique film production company Splinter Films with Producer Emer Patten, where he worked as a multi camera director for live events on multiple platforms including cinema, TV, 3D, DVD and online digital streaming, before going freelance in 2017. He has worked extensively with some of the world's best-known musical artists, creating concert films for Madonna, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Metallica, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Katy Perry and Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as major Latin music artists such as Shakira, Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz and Ivete Sangalo. ''Live from the Forum MMXVIII'' is the third live album and a concert film from the Eagles. It records the concerts at the Forum in Inglewood, California that took place over three nights in September 2018. It is the first release to feature new band members Deacon Frey and Vince Gill alongside Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit. Deacon, son of the late former band member Glenn Frey, and Gill joined the band following the death of the elder Frey in 2016. The Eagles are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1971. With five number-one singles and six number-one albums, six Grammy Awards and five American Music Awards, the Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s in North America. The Latin Grammy Awards are an award by The Latin Recording Academy to recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry. ''Ten Pieces'' is a music education scheme created by journalist Katy Jones for BBC Music which began with a namesake film hosted by Barney Harwood (and other BBC celebrities) created for CBBC that originally aired on 3 October 2014. The Young Vic Theatre is a performing arts venue located on The Cut, near the South Bank, in the London Borough of Lambeth. The Young Vic was established by Frank Dunlop in 1970. Kwame Kwei-Armah has been Artistic Director since February 2018, succeeding David Lan. ''The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time'' is a play by Simon Stephens based on the novel of the same name by Mark Haddon. During its premiere run, the play tied the record for winning the most Olivier Awards (seven), including Best New Play at the 2013 ceremony (this record was surpassed by ''Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'' in 2017 with nine wins). The play premiered on 2 August 2012 in the Cottesloe Theatre at the Royal National Theatre in London before transferring to the Apollo Theatre in the West End on 12 March 2013. ''A Disappearing Number'' is a 2007 play co-written and devised by the Théâtre de Complicité company and directed and conceived by English playwright Simon McBurney. It was inspired by the collaboration during the 1910s between the pure mathematicians Srinivasa Ramanujan from India, and the Cambridge University don G.H. Hardy. It was a co-production between the UK-based theatre company Complicite and Theatre Royal, Plymouth, and Ruhrfestspiele, Wiener Festwochen, and the Holland Festival. ''A Disappearing Number'' premiered in Plymouth in March 2007, toured internationally, and played at The Barbican Centre in Autumn 2007 and 2008 and at Lincoln Center in July 2010.
