Nick Porzig
Nicholas Weston Porzig (born 1 July 1972 in Cape Town) is a South African-born, former Australian representative former rower. He is a dual Olympian and an Olympic silver medalist. Club and state rowing Porzig learned to row at St Stithians College in Johannesburg, under Paul Jackson who later coached national South African crews. In 1989, Porzig's family emigrated to Perth, Australia, where he continued to row at Hale School. Porzig's senior rowing was from the Curtin University Rowing Club where he was coached by Tony Lovrich who ran a successful high performance sweep men's squad. Porizg first made state selection for Western Australia in the 1991 youth eight which contested the Noel Wilkinson Trophy at the Australian Rowing Championships. Robert Jahrling
Robert Jahrling (born 14 February 1974) is an East Berlin-born Olympian rower of East German parentage who competed for Australia at three Olympic Games. He is an Australian state and national champion, a medallist at World Rowing Championships, Rowing World Cups, Commonwealth Games and won a silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the men's eight. Personal Jahrling was born in East Berlin, Germany. His parents, Marina Wilke and Harald Jährling, are both Olympic gold medallists in rowing for East Germany. His mother – the coxswain of the East German women's eight – was not yet sixteen when Jahrling was born. Robert Walker (born 30 December 1973) is a former Australian rower. He is an Olympian and a medalist at World Rowing Championships. State and club rowing Walker first made state selection for New South Wales in the 1992 youth eight which contested and won the Noel Wilkinson Trophy at the Australian Rowing Championships. In 1994 he was selected in the New South Wales senior eight contesting the King's Cup at the Interstate Regatta. He rowed in further New South Wales King's Cup eights crew in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 and 2000. Geoffrey Peter Stewart (born 15 December 1973) is an Australian former rower – a national champion, an U23 world champion and a three-time Olympian. Rowing brothers Geoffrey's twin brother James was also a three time Olympic rower (1996, 2000, 2004). Their younger brother Stephen rowed at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. They became the first trio of brothers to represent Australia in rowing at the same Olympics when they all rowed at Athens 2004 to a bronze medal in the men's eight. Ben Dodwell
Benjamin Philip Dodwell (born 17 April 1972 in Melbourne) is an Australian former rower - a nine-time national champion, a triple Olympian, Olympic medal winner and representative at World Rowing Championships. Club and state rowing Dodwell was educated at Melbourne Grammar School where he took up rowing. He rowed in the school's first VIII of 1988. Four years later he would be competing at the Barcelona Olympics. From school he joined the Mercantile Rowing Club in Melbourne. Brett Hayman (born 3 May 1972 in Melbourne) is an Australian three time world champion, a dual Olympian and an Australian national champion rowing coxswain. David Weightman (rower)
David Weightman (born 28 September 1971, in Brisbane) is an Australian former rower. He was a national champion and representative at World Rowing Championships, an Olympian and an Olympic silver medallist. Club and state rowing Weightman grew up in Brisbane and attended Brisbane Grammar School where he learnt to row in 1984. His senior rowing was with the University of Queensland Boat Club in Brisbane and the Mosman Rowing Club in Sydney.
