Nick Olczyk
Nick Olczyk (; born October 4, 1996) is an American sports analyst for the Seattle Kraken. He previously worked as a broadcaster for the Chicago Blackhawks and for the Indy Fuel, their minor-league affiliate. College playing career Olczyk played Forward (ice hockey), forward on the Colorado College Tigers men's ice hockey team, appearing in 17 games in two seasons. Citing his lack of ice time and the school's lack of a communications department, he left the school in 2019 to pursue professional experience in broadcasting. Chicago Blackhawks/Indy Fuel After leaving college, Olczyk became a broadcaster for the Indy Fuel of the ECHL, a minor-league affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. The 2021–22 Chicago Blackhawks season was the 96th season for the National Hockey League franchise that was established on September 25, 1926. The Blackhawks were led by Jeremy Colliton until he was fired on November 6, 2021, after the team started with a 1–9–2 record; he has been replaced by interim coach Derek King. After the prior season was shortened and realigned due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the NHL announced that divisions and conferences would be used for the season. Rick Olczyk
Rick Olczyk (born March 10, 1970) is an American ice hockey executive and assistant general manager of the Seattle Kraken. Previously he was the assistant general manager for the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL) for six seasons. He is the younger brother of U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer Ed Olczyk. Edmonton Oilers Olczyk completed six seasons as assistant general manager with the Edmonton Oilers prior to joining the Hurricanes. Pat Foley (born 1954) is an American retired play-by-play commentator for ice hockey. Personal life Born in Glenview, Illinois in 1954, Pat Foley is the son of Mary and Bob Foley. He is an alumnus of Loyola Academy and Michigan State University, with a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications from the latter.
