Nick Grigg
Nick Grigg (born 18 September 1992) is a rugby union player, who currently plays as a midfield back for US Carcassonne in the French Pro D2 competition. He previously played for Red Hurricanes Osaka in Japan, Glasgow Warriors in Scotland and in New Zealand. Grigg was born and raised in New Zealand, but has represented Scotland – for which he is eligible due to his Scottish heritage – both in the fifteen-a-side form of the game and rugby sevens. Rugby union career Amateur career He previously played for Petone and for the under-20 Wellington side in New Zealand. When not playing for Glasgow Warriors, Grigg plays for Stirling County. Hurricanes (rugby Union)
The Hurricanes ( ; formerly the Wellington Hurricanes) is a New Zealand professional rugby union team based in Wellington that competes in Super Rugby. The Hurricanes were formed to represent the lower North Island, including the East Coast, Hawke's Bay, Horowhenua Kapiti, Manawatu, Poverty Bay, Wairarapa-Bush, Wanganui and Wellington unions. They currently play at Sky Stadium (formerly named Westpac Stadium), having previously played at the now-defunct Athletic Park. The South African national rugby sevens team competes in the World Rugby Sevens Series, the Rugby World Cup Sevens, the Summer Olympic Games and the Commonwealth Games. Overall, the team has won the World Rugby Sevens Series 4 times, as well as having won 39 tournaments in the series. The 2022 Bunnings NPC season is the seventeenth season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition, the National Provincial Championship, since it turned professional in 2006. It involves the top fourteen provincial rugby unions of New Zealand, which – under a new format introduced in 2022 – will all be playing for the same title for the first time since the 2010 season. The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. Scotstoun Stadium
Scotstoun Stadium is an athletics and rugby union stadium in Scotstoun, an area in the West End of Glasgow, Scotland. Glasgow Warriors have trained at the facility since 2009 and have played their home games here from the 2012–13 season onwards. It has a capacity of 9,708 for rugby union. Between 2012 and 2015, the Stadium hosted the Scotland Sevens – the Scottish leg of the IRB Sevens World Series, but then the leg was moved to a new host country, France in 2016. Leinster Rugby ( ga, Rugbaí Laighean) is one of the four professional provincial rugby union teams from the island of Ireland and the most successful Irish team domestically. Edinburgh Rugby (formerly Edinburgh Reivers, Edinburgh Gunners) is one of the two professional rugby union teams from Scotland.
