Nick Easley
Nick Easley (born January 14, 1997) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Iowa and was signed by the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in 2019. High school career Easley attended Newton Senior High School in Newton, Iowa, where he played wide receiver, kicker and punter for the football team. In his junior season in 2013, Easley was an all-district selection. His senior year, Easley was a captain and earned second-team all-state honors as a wide receiver and was a third-team selection as a kicker, in addition to being first-team all-district for the second year in a row. Easley holds a slew of football records at the high school, including most career receiving yards, as well as the most touchdowns in a game, season, and career. 2019 Outback Bowl
The 2019 Outback Bowl was a college football bowl game played on January 1, 2019. It was the 33rd edition of the Outback Bowl, and one of the 2018–19 bowl games concluding the 2018 FBS football season. The game was sponsored by Outback Steakhouse and played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. Teams The game featured the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference and the Mississippi State Bulldogs of the Southeastern Conference. It was the first meeting between the two teams. 2018 Iowa Hawkeyes Football Team
The 2018 Iowa Hawkeyes football team represented the University of Iowa during the 2018 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Hawkeyes played their home games at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, Iowa and competed in the West Division of the Big Ten Conference. They were led by Kirk Ferentz in his 20th season as head coach. Iowa began the year with six wins in their first seven games, with their sole loss during that span coming in their conference opener against Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes rose to 18th in the AP Poll, but lost three consecutive games to knock them from the polls. They ended the regular season with two more wins to finish tied for second in the West Division with a conference record of 5–4.
