Nick Anderson is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American editorial cartoonist whose cartoons typically present liberal viewpoints. He currently draws cartoons for the Washington Post Writers Group. He drew cartoons for the ''Houston Chronicle'' from 2006-2017, where the newspaper's Web site maintained a blog of his cartoons and video animations. His artwork is characterized by a painterly style due to his use of Corel's Painter software, which he uses in conjunction with the Wacom Cintiq computer monitor. He has been designated a "Painter Master" by The Corel Corporation. Career The CNN-YouTube Republican presidential debates, which aired on November 28, 2007, used one of Anderson's questions, submitted in animated form. Nicholas Anderson (born April 26, 1995) is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He is best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band the Wrecks since its formation in 2015. He remains their primary producer and lyricist but has recently collaborated with a variety of artists on projects outside the scope of the Wrecks. Early life Anderson was born in Western New York to John Anderson, an editor for '' the Daily News'' and the ''Tyler Morning Telegraph'', and Kasey Ross Riley, a school secretary. Nick Anderson (born January 27, 2000) is an American football linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Tulane. Early life Anderson was born prematurely on January 27, 2000, and grew up in Vickburg Mississippi. He played football at Vicksburg High School and played as both a linebacker and running back. Throughout, elementary through high school Anderson maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA and made nothing less than an A grade in all his courses. During his sophomore season, his mother prevented him from attending spring practices due to earning a B grade. While playing at Vicksburg he was named 2015-2016 Team Rookie of the Year, 2016-2017 1st Team All District Linebacker, and All County Defensive Player of the Year. Nick Paul Anderson (born July 5, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays. Career Amateur career Anderson attended Brainerd High School in Brainerd, Minnesota. He played college baseball at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota for three years (2009–2011). He transferred to NAIA Mayville State University in Mayville, North Dakota, for his senior season in 2012. In 12 games (11 starts) his senior year, he went 5–2 with a 1.95 ERA. Nelison "Nick" Anderson (born January 20, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player who played for the Orlando Magic, Sacramento Kings, and Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Born in Chicago, Illinois, Anderson played high school basketball at Simeon Career Academy where he was named " Illinois Mr. Basketball" for 1986 after leading his team to the city championship and a top national ranking in ''USA Today''. Nick Anderson is a Michelin-starred British chef and restaurateur. He has been the head chef at The Boxing Hare, in Chipping Norton, West Oxfordshire, since 2017. Career Anderson attained his first head-chef role in 1987, at Antony Griffith Harris's The Canal Brasserie in London. In 1991, he left The Canal and opened Nick's Bistro @ Rococo, in King's Lynn, Norfolk, within a 17th-century building. In 2001, Anderson closed the restaurant and moved Rococo from King's Lynn to The Crown in Wells, Somerset. It opened in June 2001. In 2004, he and his financial backers parted ways, forcing Anderson to leave the hotel. He spent almost a year on unemployment, and became bankrupt.
