Nick Allen Brown (born February 5, 1978) is an American author and speaker best known for his fiction books centred around small towns. His first novel, ''Field of Dead Horses,'' was published in May 2012 by Harrowood Books. After receiving critical acclaim coupled with exceptional sales, Harrowood Books signed Nick Allen Brown to an indefinite contract. Early life Brown was raised by a single mother who encouraged his interests in both literature and film. Career Writing career Brown began his career by writing query letters to more than 300 publishers and literary agents. After receiving more than 200 rejection letters, Brown continued to the pursuit to publish his first manuscript, ''The Perfect Swing'', a fiction story set in present day about the first ever amateur Masters Tournament winner. Bowling Green is a home rule-class city and the county seat of Warren County, Kentucky, United States. WBKO
WBKO (channel 13) is a television station in Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States, affiliated with ABC, Fox, and The CW Plus. It is owned by Gray Television alongside Telemundo affiliate WBGS-LD (channel 34). The two stations maintain studios on Russellville Road (US 68/KY 80) near its junction with Interstate 165 on the west side of Bowling Green. The transmitter facility is located along Kentucky Route 185 (Richardsville Road) in unincorporated northern Warren County. WBKO went on the air in 1962 as WLTV; after five years without a network affiliation, it has been aligned with ABC since 1967. In 1969, WLTV's tower was blown off its base in a dynamiting incident. The station was sold the next year and new transmission facilities built, emerging as the only source of television news and information for much of south-central Kentucky for most of its history. Gary Leon Goldman (born 17 September 1953) is an American screenwriter. His film credits include '' Big Trouble in Little China'' (1986), '' Total Recall'' (1990) and '' Navy SEALs'' (1990). Career Goldman's first big screen writing credit was for John Carpenter's fantasy martial arts film, ''Big Trouble in Little China,'' which he co-wrote with David Weinstein. Originally set in the old west, the script was later adapted by Carpenter's former classmate at USC film school, W. D. Richter, to take place in modern times. Goldman's next major writing job came in 1989 for the science fiction action film ''Total Recall,'' starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
