Nicholas Murray (Presbyterian)
Nicholas Murray (December 25, 1802 – February 4, 1861) was Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America. Biography Murray was born in Ballinasloe, County Galway, Ireland, on December 25, 1802. In 1818, he emigrated to the United States, becoming an apprentice printer with Harper Brothers. He graduated from Williams College in 1826, he was ordained a minister, and became Moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly of America. Murray wrote extensively of his travels and archaeology, which was an abiding interest. An occasional pseudonym was Kirwan. Nicholas Murray is a British biographer, poet and journalist. Career Murray is a freelance author based in Wales and London. Born in Liverpool he is the author of several literary biographies including lives of Franz Kafka, Aldous Huxley, Bruce Chatwin, Andrew Marvell and Matthew Arnold, four collections of poems, and two novels. His biography of Matthew Arnold was a New York Times Notable Book of the Year in 1997 and his biography of Aldous Huxley was shortlisted for the Marsh Biography Award in 2003. Nick Murray (musician)
Nick Murray is an American drummer. He is best known as a member of the garage rock band White Fence, and as a former member of Thee Oh Sees, with whom he recorded two studio albums. Murray has also been a frequent collaborator of Tim Presley (White Fence), as well as Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon, contributing to her solo album, ''Mug Museum'' (2013) and with 'DRINKS' (2015), a collaborative project with White Fence's Tim Presley and Cate Le Bon. Murray has also toured with Mikal Cronin and Gold Star. Nick Murray (footballer)
Nicholas Murray (born 18 December 2000) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). As a junior, Murray played for the Murray Bushrangers and the Greater Western Sydney Giants' reserves team. He was overlooked at the AFL draft for two seasons in a row before being signed to a rookie contract with Adelaide in early 2021 and making his AFL debut less than three weeks later. Murray has since become an integral part of Adelaide's backline. Early life and career Murray is the younger brother of Sam Murray, who played 13 AFL matches for Collingwood before Murray began his career. As a junior, Murray played 21 games for the Murray Bushrangers in the NAB League across the 2017 and 2018 seasons, becoming the team's co-captain.
