Nicky Byrne
Nicholas Bernard James Adam Byrne Jr. (born 9 October 1978) is an Irish pop singer, songwriter and radio and television presenter, best known for being a member of the pop group Westlife; he is the band's oldest member. Westlife has since released twelve albums, embarked on thirteen world tours, and won several awards, becoming one of the most successful musical groups of all time. Before his music career, he played professional football, representing Republic of Ireland at several junior levels. Since then he has had a successful TV and radio presenting career. His wife Georgina is the daughter of former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, and they have twin sons and a daughter. In September 2012, it was announced that Byrne would be a contestant for the tenth series of '' Strictly Come Dancing''. He was the ninth contestant to be eliminated. William Pitt Byrne

He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with a BA and M.A. He was admitted to the Inner Temple in 1835 and called to the bar in 1839 but never practised law. His father Nicholas Byrne was his predecessor as editor and proprietor of the ''Morning Post'', about whom there is little biographical information in the historical record. Nicholas Byrne took a strongly pro-Conservative editorial stance, and his son was named after William Pitt the Younger. He was mysteriously attacked by a masked intruder around 1833 and never fully recovered, dying of his injuries about two years later. Nicol Burne ( fl. 1574–1598) was a Scottish Roman Catholic controversialist. Life Burne told Thomas Smeaton in Paisley that he wished to defend Catholic doctrines before the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Smeaton excommunicated him, and Burne was arrested. He was confined in St Andrews Castle, and then taken to the Old Tolbooth, Edinburgh. He remained there from 15 October 1580 to the end of January 1581. He was then exiled.
