Niccolò Fabi (album)
Niccolò Fabi (born 16 May 1968) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He rose to national fame after competing in the Newcomers' section of the Sanremo Music Festival 1997, receiving the Mia Martini Critics' Award for his entry "Capelli". As of 2021, he has released nine studio albums and a greatest hits album in Italy, as well as two compilation albums for the Hispanic market. During his career, Fabi also received two Lunezia Awards for the album "La cura del tempo" and for the song "Costruire". Early life Niccolò Fabi was born in Rome on 16 May 1968. His father, Claudio Fabi, was a record producer mainly active in the 1970s, when he was the artistic director of Lucio Battisti's label Numero Uno, producing artists including the Premiata Forneria Marconi and Alberto Fortis. The Festivalbar was an Italian singing competition that took place in the most important Italian squares during summer, such as the Piazza del Duomo, Catania or Piazza Bra, Verona. The first edition took place in 1964 and was broadcast by RAI. The competition was held throughout the summer and the final round always took place at the Arena in Verona after 3-4 events in various cities of Italy. History Originally, the Festivalbar was a competition made with data from jukeboxes in Italian bars, so the competition was a one evening event transmitted by RAI. Adnkronos is an Italian news agency. History and profile Adnkronos was established in 1963 by a merger of two agencies, ''Kronos'' (founded in 1951) and ''Agenzia Di Notizie'' (founded in 1959). The agency is based in Rome. Adnkronos is owned by Giuseppe Marra Communications. Its editor-in-chief is Giuseppe Marra. The agency was expanded to include Adnkronos Salute which is a health agency. In 2003, the agency established its International office, Adnkronos International, which provides news and reports in Arabic and English, mainly from the Arab world. The Sanremo Music Festival 1998 ( it, Festival di Sanremo 1998), officially the 48th Italian Song Festival (), was the 48th annual Sanremo Music Festival, held at the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, province of Imperia, in the late February 1998 and broadcast by Rai 1. The show was presented by Raimondo Vianello, supported by Eva Herzigová and Veronica Pivetti. ''il Resto del Carlino'' is an Italian newspaper based in Bologna, and is one of the oldest newspapers in Italy. Its rather evocative name means "the change you get from a ''carlino''", which the smallest part of the Papal ''baiocco'' (no longer legal tender in united Italy but a word still used in Bologna to refer to 10 cent coins): a sheet of local news was given out in shops to make up for the change owing after buying a cigar (which was worth 8 cents).
