Niamh Houston
Niamh Houston (born 23 September 1991), better known by her stage name Chipzel, is a musician from Northern Ireland. She is best known for making chiptune music, particularly with a Game Boy. She is also a video game music composer, and is known for the soundtracks of games such as ''Super Hexagon'', ''Interstellaria'', and ''Dicey Dungeons''. Her music is also featured in other games such as ''Just Shapes and Beats'' and ''Spectra''. Biography Early life Niamh Houston was born on 23 September 1991 in Strabane, Northern Ireland. Strabane ( ; ) is a town in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Strabane had a population of 13,172 at the 2011 Census. It lies on the east bank of the River Foyle. The Blip Festival was a festival that celebrated chiptune music with musical performances, workshops, and screenings of movies. It was held annually starting in 2006 in New York City. In recent years, there have been international versions of Blip Festival held in Europe, Asia, and Australia. The festival is curated and organized by 8bitpeoples, one of the foremost labels in the chiptune scene, as well as local arts organization The Tank. ''Size Does Matter'', stylized as ''Size DOES Matter'', is a 2014 indie rhythm game developed by DOS Studios and released by Channel 4 Television for iOS and Android. Players move and resize a set of blocks to fit through moving obstacles and score points.
