Niamh Farrelly
Niamh Farrelly (born 15 April 1999) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Parma Calcio 2022, Parma of the Italian Serie A (women's football), Serie A. She previously played for Glasgow City F.C., Glasgow City of the Scottish Women's Premier League, who she joined from Peamount United F.C., Peamount United of the Women's National League (Ireland), Women's National League (WNL). In 2019 she made her debut for the Republic of Ireland women's national football team, Republic of Ireland women's national team. She can play in either the centre of Defender (association football), defence or in Midfielder, midfield. Club career Farrelly is from Lucan, Dublin and she learned to play street football alongside her brother. In professional football, a transfer is the action taken whenever a player under contract moves between clubs. It refers to the transferring of a player's registration from one association football club to another. In general, the players can only be transferred during a transfer window and according to the rules set by a governing body (fulfilling the requirements of FIFA, continental and national bodies regulating the purchasing and selling clubs).
