Niall Arthur
Niall Arthur (born 1992) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Inniskeen Grattans, having earlier played with Inagh-Kilnamona, O'Tooles and St Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh, while he has also played at senior inter-county level with Louth and Monaghan. Career Arthur first played hurling to a high standard as a student at St. Flannan's College in Ennis, where he lined out on the Harty Cup team. He later lined out in the Fitzgibbon Cup while studying at St. Patrick's College in Drumcondra. After beginning his club career with Inagh-Kilnamona in Clare, Arthur later transferred to the O'Tooles club in Dublin. He later spent a period of time playing with St Oliver Plunketts/Eoghan Ruadh before once again transferring to the Inniskeen Grattans club in Monaghan. Arthur first appeared on the inter-county scene with Clare as a member of the minor team that lost the 2010 All-Ireland minor final to Kilkenny. Inagh-Kilnamona GAA
Inagh-Kilnamona GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Inagh and Kilnamona, County Clare in Ireland. The club field teams in hurling. The present club was formed prior to the 2008 season when Inagh GAA and Kilnamona GAA merged to form one club. History The club was set up in 1887. It was originally called Smith O'Brien's, Kilnamona, after the nationalist William Smith O'Brien (1803–64). Kilnamona enjoyed success in the first decade of the 20th century, winning the Clare Senior Hurling Championship in 1902, 1903 and 1908. In 1902, Kilnamona defeated Barefield in the County Final. The Barefield club alleged that Kilnamona were the pick of four parishes and challenged Kilnamona to a rematch. The Nicky Rackard Cup (; often referred to as the Rackard Cup) is the fourth tier of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship. Each year, the champion team in the Nicky Rackard Cup is promoted to the Christy Ring Cup, and the lowest finishing team is relegated to the Lory Meagher Cup. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system.
