Nia Archives (born 28 November 1999) is an English record producer, DJ and songwriter, noted for her work in the jungle and drum and bass genres. In 2022, she received a MOBO Award, an NME Award, a DJ Mag Award, and a nomination for a BRIT Award. Biography Born in Bradford, West Yorkshire, Archives grew up in Leeds until relocating to Manchester at the age of 16, where she gained interest in the rave scene. She is half- Jamaican. She self-released her first two extended plays (EPs), ''Headz Gone West'' (2021) and ''Forbidden Feelingz'' (2022), the latter of which received critical acclaim. Archives performed at the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2023. Bradford
Bradford is a city and the administrative centre of the City of Bradford district in West Yorkshire, England. The city is in the Pennines' eastern foothills on the banks of the Bradford Beck. Bradford had a population of 349,561 at the 2011 census; the second-largest population centre in the county after Leeds, which is to the east of the city. ''Pitchfork'' (formerly ''Pitchfork Media'') is an American online music publication (currently owned by Condé Nast) that was launched in 1995 by writer Ryan Schreiber as an independent music blog. Schreiber started Pitchfork while working at a record store in suburban Minneapolis, and the website earned a reputation for its extensive coverage of indie rock music. It has since expanded and covers all kinds of music, including pop. Pitchfork was sold to Condé Nast in 2015, although Schreiber remained its editor-in-chief until he left the website in 2019. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums. A phonograph record (also known as a gramophone record, especially in British English), or simply a record, is an analog sound storage medium in the form of a flat disc with an inscribed, modulated spiral groove. The groove usually starts near the periphery and ends near the center of the disc. At first, the discs were commonly made from shellac, with earlier records having a fine abrasive filler mixed in. Starting in the 1940s polyvinyl chloride became common, hence the name vinyl. The phonograph record was the primary medium used for music reproduction throughout the 20th century. Streaming media is multimedia that is delivered and consumed in a continuous manner from a source, with little or no intermediate storage in network elements.
