Ngô Phương Lan
Ngô Phương Lan (born 12 March 1987, in Hanoi) is Miss Vietnam World 2007 and first runner up at Miss Vietnam UK 2007. When Lan was 1st grade in Vietnam, her family moved to the U.S. (her father was an Ambassador to the United Nations) where she studied 1st through 7th grade in New York City. In 2000, she returned to Hanoi and attended the United Nations International School. She later followed her family to Switzerland in 2002. Currently, she is a student at a small college in the faculty of International Relations, Switzerland. She is 1.70m tall. Ngo Phuong Lan can speak Vietnamese, English, French. Hanoi

These agencies earn their income via commission, usually from the deal they make with the model and/or the head agency. The top agencies work with big-budget advertising agencies and fashion designers. They invest money into developing their talent so they can increase their status within the industry. These top agencies will help train models, get test shoots, layout portfolios, and put together comp cards (composition photo cards) and other printed materials models need. The agencies find work for models by presenting them to designers, photographers, and ad agencies. Miss World 2007
Miss World 2007, the 57th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 1 December 2007 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. It was hosted by Fernando Allende and Angela Chow. Zhang Zilin of China won the crown and succeeded Taťána Kuchařová of the Czech Republic. The 106 contestants recorded the official torch relay anthem Light the Passion, Share the Dream for the 2008 Olympic Games as a major co-operation between the Beijing Olympic Committee and Miss World Limited. The song had its first broadcast to a global audience at the 57th Miss World final on 1 December. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions.
