The 2019 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship was the 3rd edition of the Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, an annual women's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The tournament was held at Espace Mayenne in Laval, France, between 27 and 30 July 2023. Five teams made their first appearance in the women's Challenger Cup in this edition: Kenya, Mexico, Sweden, Ukraine and Vietnam. The host France won the title, defeating Sweden in the final, and earned the right to participate in the 2024 Nations League replacing Croatia, the last placed challenger team in the 2023 edition. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup
The 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2022 AVC Cup for Women was the seventh edition of the Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF). The tournament was held at PhilSports Arena, Pasig, Philippines from 21 to 29 August 2022. As hosts, Philippines automatically qualified for the tournament, while the remaining 9 teams, qualified from the 2019 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship in Seoul, South Korea. Japan won their first ever title, winning over China in the final. Qualification The 10 AVC member associations qualified for the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup. 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix
The 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix is the inaugural edition of the ASEAN Grand Prix, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament which is contested by 4 national teams that are the members of the Southeast Asian Zonal Volleyball Association (SEAZVA), the sport's regional governing body affiliated to Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). The first leg was held in Thailand on September while the second leg was held in the Philippines on October. Teams Four national teams featured in the 2019 ASEAN Grand Prix. 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup
The 2018 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup, so-called 2018 AVC Cup for Women was the sixth edition of the Asian Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from 16 to 23 September 2018.
