Nguyen Thanh Nghi (born 1976) is a Vietnamese politician. He is currently a member of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam ( Vietnamese: ''Ban Chấp hành Trung ương Đảng Cộng sản Việt Nam''), commonly the Party Central Committee (PCC; - or ), is the highest organ between two national congresses ..., Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee. He was Secretary of the Kiên Giang province, Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee from 2015 to 2020 and was the youngest Provincial Party Secretary in the country at the time of his appointment, and Minister of Construction. Kiên Giang Province
Kiên Giang was a former province of Vietnam, located in the Mekong Delta region of southern Vietnam. It is known for fishing and rice farming. The provincial capital is Rạch Giá, from Ho Chi Minh City. Kiên Giang's area is and its population is about 1,723,067 (2019), of which 22 percent live in urban areas. Cà Mau () is a city in southern Vietnam. It is the capital of Cà Mau province, a province in the Mekong Delta region, in the southernmost part of Vietnam's inland territory (mainland).
