The film was selected in the non-feature section of the Indian Panorama at the 38th International Film Festival of India 2007. Haobam Paban Kumar is an Indian filmmaker from state of Manipur. Kumar's films and documentaries have been screened in several places across the globe. Kumar's debut feature film ''Loktak Lairembee'' (Lady of the Lake) won the National Film Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation/Preservation at the 64th National Film Awards 2017. He also won German Star of India at the 14th Indian Film Festival in Stuttgart, Germany for the film in 2017. Huirem Seema (''full name:'' Huirem Ningol Laimayum Ongbi Seema; 8 November 1970 - 17 September 2011) was an Indian actress from Imphal, Manipur. She had appeared in more than 100 Manipuri films. As a producer, she had four Manipuri digital films to her credit. She was best known for her roles in movies like ''Kanaga Hinghouni'', ''Chang Shi Chang'', '' Lakhipurgi Lakhipyari'', ''Naoshum'', ''Yumleima Lamleima'' and ''Thasi Thanou''. Kangabam Tomba (born 10 June 1946) is an Indian actor from Imphal, Manipur. He started his career in theatre. His first appearance in movies is in ''Matamgi Manipur'', the first Manipuri full-length feature film where he played a college guy. His is popularly known as ''Lamja Tomba'' for his titular role in the 1974 movie ''Lamja Parshuram''. ''Tomba'' bagged the Best Actor Award at the 1st Manipur State Film Festival 1984 for the film. Shehnad Jalal born 28 June 1978, is a cinematographer based in Kerala, India. After completing his Post Graduation in Commerce from the Kerala University, in 2002, he joined the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata for Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography.
