''Next Door'' is a 1994 American black comedy television movie starring James Woods, Randy Quaid, Kate Capshaw and Lucinda Jenney. It originally aired September 4, 1994 on the Showtime network and was made available on VHS January 17, 1995. As of January 2009, the film has yet to find a DVD release. Plot Matt (Woods), a sophisticated college professor and Karen (Capshaw), his schoolteacher wife, have inconsiderate neighbors (a loutish beer-swilling butcher and his wife, played by Quaid and Jenney) whose lawn sprinkler drowns their flowers. A feud erupts and as a series of tit-for-tat actions escalate, they also start to get crueler and more destructive. ''Naboer'' ( en, Next Door, italic=yes) is a 2005 Norwegian psychological thriller film, directed by Pål Sletaune. In the movie, the protagonist John ( Kristoffer Joner) is drawn into a violent, sexual game by his two beautiful female neighbours. ''Naboer'' received an over-18 rating in Norway, which had only happened to four Norwegian movies before. Upon release it was well received by critics. Sletaune stated "I worked hard with Kristoffer Joner to make the character into something which would interest the audience". Plot The main character, John (played by Kristoffer Joner), has just been dumped by his girlfriend Ingrid ( Anna Bache-Wiig). Freddy Moore
Frederick George Moore (July 19, 1950 – August 25, 2022) was an American musician best known for his 1980 song "It's Not A Rumour", which he co-wrote with his ex-wife Demi Moore, and recorded with his band The Nu-Kats. The song was not a chart hit, but the video did receive airplay on MTV in the early 1980s. Moore's career spanned decades and included teaching himself to play guitar, writing the lyrics to 1,000 original songs, forming multiple bands, and even starring in a few film roles. Moore's bands performed at legendary Los Angeles clubs, including Whiskey a Go-Go, The Troubadour, and Starwood, and headlined alongside The Police, The Knack, and The Motels.
