''News and Views'' is a talk radio program produced by KFGO in Fargo, North Dakota that airs weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Central Time. Joel Heitkamp hosts the show. The show's format is interviews with newsmakers and telephone call-ins; the host and guests have ample opportunity to express their opinions, but also open the subject to discussion. Telephone callers are "taken cold" — that is, no pre-screening of callers occurs before going to air. The show was launched with Ed Schultz, who later went on to host a national program, ''The Ed Schultz Show'' in 2004, and returned as host on February 1, 2007 replacing former North Dakota State Senator Joel Heitkamp. KEYZ (660 AM broadcasting, AM) is a local radio station in Williston, North Dakota. The station broadcasts news and information, as well as classic country, classic country music 24 hours a day. KEYZ has a 5,000–watt signal that covers more than 20 counties and portions of two Canadian provinces. Additionally, it is heard in the immediate Williston area on FM translator K277DR, at 103.3 FM. The station also has two sister stations, KTHC and KYYZ. All three stations are owned by Townsquare Media, and are located at 410 6th Street East, on Williston's east side. History KWBM signed on in 1948 at 1450 kHz. KFYR (550 kHz) is an AM radio station located in Bismarck, North Dakota, owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. It transmits on a 5,000-watt signal that can be heard in seven U.S. states and three Canadian provinces. KFYR also broadcasts on translator K259AF (99.7 FM) in Bismarck. 99.7 FM was previously a simulcast of KQDY 94.5 FM before 2011. KFYR boasts an enormous coverage area. Langdon is a city in Cavalier County, North Dakota, Cavalier County, North Dakota, United States. It is the county seat of Cavalier County.
