Newcastle Benfield Football Club is an English football club based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. History The roots of the club can be traced back to Brunswick Village Football Club, which was founded in 1988 and entered into the Northern Alliance Division Two. After only one season (a 10th-place finish) the team's name was changed to ''Heaton Corner House Football Club'', playing at Walker Park. Heaton Corner were champions of the Northern Alliance Division Two during the 1989–90 season. At the end of their first season, the club moved to their current home, Sam Smith's Park and changed their name to ''Newcastle Benfield Park'' a further year later. By the early 1990s, they had finished runners-up in the Northern Alliance Division One and were competing in the Premier Division of that league system. Walkergate
Walkergate is an area and electoral ward in the city of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. It is in the east of the city, north of Walker proper, east of the Heaton area and west of Wallsend. Areas within the Walkergate ward include Daisy Hill, Eastfield, Walkerdene and Walkerville. Walkergate Metro station which was opened in 1982 serves the area. This replaced the previous railway station on the same site which was originally known as Walker station from 1839 to 1889 when it was renamed Walker Gate station. Walkergate Hospital was built in 1888 originally as a hospital for Infectious Diseases - scarlet fever, diphtheria, typhoid, tuberculosis and later, polio. The architect was A.B. Gibson. The hospital was closed in 2011. In 2012 the Benfield Park Healthcare and Diagnostic Centre was opened on the site of the old Walkergate Hospital. The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. The matches did not attract large crowds but outstanding players were selected for Youth Internationals and thousands were given the chance to play in a national contest for the first time. In 1951 it was realised that a competition for clubs would probably have a wider appeal. Spennymoor Town
Spennymoor Town Football Club is a football club based in Spennymoor, County Durham, in the North East of England. They currently compete in and currently play their home matches at The Brewery Field. The club began playing in the Northern League in 1931–32 as Evenwood Town, reaching the first round of the FA Cup in the 1956–57 season. In 2005, the club merged with Spennymoor United, who had folded earlier that year, and collectively changed their name to Spennymoor Town. Nolberto Albino "Ñol" Solano Todco (born 12 December 1974), commonly known as Nobby Solano, is a retired Peruvian professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently the assistant manager of the Peru national football team, as well as the manager of the Peru Olympic football team. His talents in football range from accurate crosses to accomplished dead-ball skills and he traditionally played either on the right side of midfield, or as a right back during his career.
