New Zealand Cricket Team In Bangladesh In 2021–22
The New Zealand cricket team toured Bangladesh in September 2021 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The matches were used as preparation ahead of the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Initially, New Zealand were scheduled to play three T20I matches, but in May 2021, two more matches were added to the schedule. The schedule for the tour was confirmed in August 2021. Tom Latham was named as New Zealand's captain, with Kane Williamson being unavailable due to him playing in the rescheduled phase of the 2021 Indian Premier League. A warm-up match for the New Zealand team at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan in Savar was scheduled to take place, but was later cancelled. Mohammad Mahmudullah (; born 4 February 1986), also known as Riyad, is a former international Bangladeshi cricketer and former captain for the side in T20I and test matches. He plays for Dhaka Division and has represented the national team in all formats. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batter as well as an off spin bowler. Soumya Sarkar (; born 25 February 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is a left-handed batter and a right arm medium-fast bowler who mainly plays as an opening batter. Mohammad Saifuddin (; born 1 November 1996) also known as Saif is a Bangladeshi cricketer who played for Bangladesh Premier League team Fortune Barishal. Mushfiqur Rahim
Mushfiqur Rahim (; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order Batting (cricket), batter and wicket-keeper in the national team. Mohammad Rubel Hossain ( born 1 January 1990) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. Rubel made his international debut in January 2009 aged only 19. He has the highest bowling average of any pace bowler to have bowled at least 2,000 deliveries in Test cricket. He is a quick bowler with a slingy action similar to Lasith Malinga's. Mosaddek Hossain Saikat (; born 10 December 1995) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for the Bangladesh national cricket team and for Barisal Division in domestic cricket. He made his international debut in January 2016. He has played across all the three formats. Under-19 career Mosaddek is a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler.
