The New Zealand cricket team toured in July 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches and a single One Day International (ODI). The matches were all played at The Grange Club in Edinburgh. Richie Berrington
Richard Douglas Berrington (born 3 April 1987) is a Scottish cricketer. He played for Scotland in the 2006 Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka, and has since played first-class, One Day International, and List A cricket for Scotland. In June 2022, Berrington was named as the captain of the national team, after Kyle Coetzer stepped down from leading the side. Early life and youth career Berrington was born in Pretoria, South Africa, but he emigrated to Scotland as a child. Berrington played cricket for Scotland at a national level as a teenager, representing the country at every level from under-13s up to under-19s. Gus Mackay
Angus James Mackay (born 13 June 1967) is a Zimbabwean sports administrator. He is a former chief executive of Cricket Scotland. Cricket career Gus Mackay played for Zimbabwe Colts in England in 1984 and then Zimbabwe Schools. In 1986 he spent a year at Essex County Cricket Club before being sidelined with a serious ankle injury. He then joined English Midlands club sides Barnt Green and West Bromwich. He made his first-class debut in 1998–99 at the age of 31. Mackay won a call-up to the Zimbabwe one-day side which toured Australia and New Zealand in 2000–01.
