New Technology Foundation
New Technology High School is a secondary school located in Napa, California. It focuses on project-based learning, student-centered culture, college and workforce readiness, and technology integration. It is the flagship school of the New Tech Network, a school design organization with nearly 200 schools in the United States and Australia. History In 1991, Vincent Butler began working on the concept for a high school designed to prepare students for the workforce. Butler began working with the Napa Valley Unified School District, who were looking to relieve crowding at Napa High School and Vintage High School. Da Vinci Charter Academy(DVCA) is located at 1400 E. 8th street in Davis, California. DVCA has about 350 students, and is expected to grow to 400 students. This school is a member of the New Technology Foundation, an organization that promotes the integration of technology and high school education. Copia: The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts was a non-profit museum and educational center in downtown Napa, California, dedicated to wine, food and the arts of American culture. The center, planned and largely funded by vintners Robert and Margrit Mondavi, was open from 2001 to 2008.
