New Morning (Misia Album)
''New Morning'' (stylized as ''NEW MORNING'') is the eleventh studio album by Japanese singer Misia. The album was released by Ariola Japan on April 2, 2014, the same day as the 77th and final date of Misia's nationwide Hoshizora no Live VII: 15th Celebration concert tour, at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall, which was broadcast live on YouTube. The album yielded the singles " Shiawase o Forever" and " Boku wa Pegasus Kimi wa Polaris". The lead track " Hope & Dreams" was released as a promotional single for the album. Background and release ''New Morning'' is Misia's first studio album in close to three years, the first since '' Soul Quest'' (2011). Misia
Misaki Itō, commonly known as and stylized as MISIA, is a Japanese singer and songwriter. Born in Nagasaki, Misia moved to Fukuoka at the age of 14 to pursue a recording career. There, she continued her secondary education and briefly attended Seinan Gakuin University before withdrawing to focus on her musical career. She was signed to BMG Japan in 1997, after auditioning for record producer Haruo Yoda. Misia came to prominence following the release of her debut album, ''Mother Father Brother Sister'' (1998), which became the seventh best-selling Japanese debut album of all time, earning her two Japan Gold Disc Awards and one Japan Record Award. Yokohama Arena
is an indoor arena located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The capacity of the arena is 17,000 and was opened in 1989. The arena was modeled after US sports venue Madison Square Garden in New York City. It is a five-minute walk from the closest station, Shin-Yokohama Station on the JR/Yokohama Municipal Subway. As one of the largest concert venues in the Kantō region, it is a frequent location for artists to end their tours. Francis Jocky
Francis Jocky is a singer, songwriter, and producer, born in Cameroon and moved to France at the age of 15. He learned to play the guitar at the age of 9 and by age 12 he played piano and started composing his first songs. He received his PhD in International Relations from Sorbonne University in Paris. During his studies, he regularly performed as a pianist and singer in various clubs in France and around the world. At one of his performances in Monte Carlo, he was approached by Jon Anderson who noticed his talent. The two wrote "The More You Know" in 1998. This record was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment. Takayuki Hattori
is a Japanese film, television, video game and non-soundtrack music composer, arranger and conductor. He is the son of the composer Katsuhisa Hattori and grandson of composer Ryoichi Hattori. He has won three Japan Academy Prize awards in the category Outstanding Achievement in Music and was the music director of the Japan Pavilion at the Expo 2010.
